: : I can't correct an erroneous price in some historical data. I go to enter all data put in a price at 29.5 and it shows up on the chart at 14.75. I have cleaned out all the pricing. I have downloaded new prices from the net but it doesn't take. Something somewhere is telling the program it is half the price. I am trying to enter my initial buy 4/12/93 for WMT at 29.5 for 50 shares. I don't want to start over againg and enter many years of data.
: : Any ideas?
: : Thanks

: I think the problem is in the initial set up. I have an incorrect price in the system for my initial invstment. Can I correct this or do I have to start over?
: Can I save my transactions somewhere and import them later?
: Thanks
: Jackson

Hi Jackson,
You can edit any of your data under "Edit/All Data...". If you are
trying to modify a transaction, make sure to select the "Investments (all)"
data type, and not the default of "Prices". This also sounds like it may
be due to you having a future 2:1 split recorded. If you enter a transaction
at $30, and have a 2:1 split recorded for a later date, and have "View/Split
Adjusted" turned on, then the price will be graphed at $15.

Thanks,
Mark
