Does FM work for funds that no longer exist?

Hello,
I hope to transfer all my historical transaction data into FM. I have bought/sold a couple of mutual funds that have since shut down or have merged. My question is, can I record these transactions in the tool? Will they be considered while computing IRR or generating reports (for example)?
