: I think you're asking for a %Gain/loss on a particular transaction in the Portfolio Editor. All of the fields in the Portfolio Editor are for an entire investment or sub-portfolio (not individual transactions). The Capital Gain reports and the Investment Transaction reports do list each transaction. Maybe you'd like to see a %Gain column available on one of these reports? If that's not what you're asking for, then I think I've misunderstood...

: --Actually, I have found a Custom Report the most useful to track portfolio performance. It shows the $ gains for sold stocks, but not the % gain. Why not? The data needed to calculate it is available. For that matter,the % gain for stocks still owned is shown (but not for solds). This is a puzzling omission. It brings up another question: does the %Gain (end) below the line include sold stocks, or not? (I hope it does).
