: FM or WINXP crashed - this seems to have created some corrupted files(?) because my customised reports no longer work - a customised report will record the list of investments or symbols but no other data.

: I do not appear to be able to now set up new customise reports - but the standard reports that come with FM still appear to operate.

: Any suggestions how to fix this?

: BTW - where is Report Structure data kept for customised reports?

Hi Gary,

Could it be that your column widths somehow got set to zero, or very large? Is there a horizontal scroll bar? It sounds like maybe a column width problem... Your column width preferences are memorized and stored in the registry. You can look at them with "regedit". The custom report column widths are stored here:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Beiley Software\Fund Manager\CurrentVersion\reports

and they all begin with "CUCol". You'll see a bunch of them. If you want to reset all the column widths, you can delete all of these keys while FM isn't running.

To answer your question: global memorized reports are stored in the registry. You can also memorize reports in your portfolio, and they are saved in the portfolio file (*.mm4) itself.

Thanks,
Mark
