Thanks Marc,

I just checked Stockhouse and the mutual fund pages were working fine and a quick look through them shows they track more than 500 funds which can be searched by symbol.

They appear to use the standard symbols for Canadian stocks, which would save a lot of editing, but I haven't figured out how the server handles symbols that are used on more than one exchange. Perhaps I'll hold off translating everything into Yahooese until you can give Stockhouse another look.

regards,
m2

: Hi Malcolm,

: I did check out Stockhouse.ca. It looks like they have stock quotes, but I wasn't sure about mutual fund quotes? Their link to the mutual fund page resulted in an error. Do they offer some quotes not available on Yahoo or Advice for Investors?

: I would suggest changing your quote server for your Canadian stocks to Yahoo, and for your Canadian mutual funds to Advice for Investors. You can set the default quote server under "Options / Internet Settings...". You may need to edit some of your ticker symbols, especially for Canadian stocks coming from Yahoo. To do this, visit their web site with your browser and figure out what ticker symbol they use for your stocks. Record this in the "Investment Properties" dialog of your investment in FM. To look up ticker symbols on Yahoo go to:

: To look up tickers on Advice for Investors, go to:

: We don't have any way of automating this ticker change, but if you have any other ideas that would help make this easier, please let me know.

: Thanks,
: Mark
