This could be a form for E-Mail messages

: 1) There is already a "Description" field that you can use for investments. You can customize the legend to display this text. See "Graphs / Options / Legend Text...".

: 2) You can set the alert marker color. Is this what you're looking for, or do you want to set the color differently for different alerts?
