: I had personal version 7.3 and upgraded to personal version 8.3. I have in my system investments in three online stock brokers, all on one large portfolio. I want to have three sub-porfolios with each having its own cash account. How do I get it done?

: Also, when I try to create cash accounts, the system will not create the account unless I provide SYMBOL and CUSIP [RSIN]. I don't know what these words mean and therefore cannot enter aything!

: I have used your software for many years. I like it much.

Hi Pablo,

You will want to use the "Portfolio Editor" to create 3 new sub-portfolios, and then move the appropriate investments into each one. Just right mouse click on your current one top level sub-portfolio, and choose "New Sub-Portfolio...". Do that 3 times. Then select the top portfolio on the left so that all the investments are shown on the right. Select all the investments for the first account, and drag/drop them onto the appropriate new sub-portfolio on the left. Repeat for the other 2.

You do have to enter a symbol, but you can enter anything, like "CASH". You do not have to enter a CUSIP.

Thanks,
Mark
