: : Hi Mark,

: : Is it possible to export FM portfolio to Morningstar portfolio? Even just fund name and number of shares?

: : Thanks//Cliff

: Hi Cliff,

: I'm not familiar with importing into (or using) Morningstar portfolio. You can export data from Fund Manager under the "File / Export" menu. You might figure out what formats Morningstar can import, and then export that from FM. Also, you can export any report data to Excel, and then save from Excel into a format that Morningstar can import. Probably the easiest would be if Morningstar can read in a .QIF file, as FM can export .QIF files.

: Thanks,
: Mark

I'm in the same boat with Cliff so if I may...Morningstar can import a file in an excel format or QIF. I've chosen QIF, but the morningstar portfolio editor does not like the format of the dividend records from FM. I've asked technical help at Morningstar to take a look and my reply here again.
