: Recently, while using the Yahoo quote server(as well as Bloomberg and CSB marketwatch), Fund Manager retrieves incorrect prices for the default cash account (Like $3.56 for VNJXX (Vanguard NJ municipal Money market)instead of $1.00). What could the problem be? Sam.

Hi Sam,

You'll want to turn off the price retrieve option for cash investments. For your cash investments go to "Investment Properties... / Internet Retrieve" and turn off "Retrieve Price". You can just leave the price at $1. Yahoo actually returns the yield as the price of money markets, which is why you were getting the $3.56 update. You can just edit/delete these false prices using the Data Register with the "Prices" data type.

Normally, when you create a new investment and assign it as a "Cash" type investment, FM defaults the "Retrieve Price" option to being off. If you created the investment in another way though this option may have been left on...

Thanks,
Mark
