autobackup in vista

I have moved fundmanager to a new machine running vista
All works well except my autoback directory is empty even though I have it selected and autobackup turned on for every session, when fund manager shuts down it tells me it is doing a auto back, but I can find no evidence of thebackup files in any directory.

2/ I could not manage to copy my memorised reports of lables across I realise they are in the registry but I just wasnt brave enought to mess with them can you give me some instructions.
