: Have to reinstall on a new HD, tried to use my .BCK file but only shows Master Portfolio not the Subportfolios and its investments, how do I restore the full Portfolio including the Subportfolios?

Hi David,

The restore command in Fund Manager does not restore your sub-portfolios, it only restores investments. If you have a backup copy of your portfolio file (*.mm4) you can copy this back to its original location, and then open this with "File / Open Portfolio", and it will have your sub-portfolios.

The built in backup/restore feature in Fund Manager needs some updating. There was just recently a discussion on this I hope you find helpful. Please read the topic: "differences between backups" a couple threads below this one.

Thanks,
Mark
