: : Is there some reason you are manually editing this file? Normally, you would just import it, and everything should import fine.

: Well, by manually edit I mean use FundManager's Data Register to reinvest by clicking the option button labeled "Reinvested" and the filling out the fields that appear.

: : The transaction type is shown on the line beginning with "N". The "IntInc" transaction is a distributed interest payment. This means it was not reinvested, it was money paid out, so you shouldn't end up with more shares after this transaction.

: "it was money paid out" I called JPMorgan's help line and they were of no help. If this was "paid out" where would it go?
: I have no record of which Mutual Fund, Stable Fund category this $69.97" amount is going.

: : The "ReinvDiv" transaction on the other hand was a reinvested dividend. For that transaction, you would end up owning another 0.017 shares, that were acquired when you reinvested the dividend.

: The above about Reinvested Dividends I understand and works logically and as I would expect.

: I'm not questioning Fund Manager's processing of this "Interest Income" item, but rather trying to understand where this $69.97 amount is going and/or whether it is valid.
: Is there a possiblity that JPMorgan is improperly handling this Interest Income $69.97 amount? It doesn't seem to be applied to my account. (That's why I question its validity, and could only think it would need to be reinvested, but reinvesting produces a mismatch in Share Amount and Dollar Amount.)

:
: As the lines from the qif file from JPMorgan below show, the Sell of "FE Overseas-A" is accompanied by a Buy. The Dollar amount 349.81 is subtracted from the Overseas and added to "JPM Stable Value" as per my instructions to JPMorgan.
: The "Interest Income" amount 69.97 doesn't seem to be added to any category in my JPMorgan account.

Hi Robert,

I can understand the confusion if you didn't receive the $69.97 as a check, or have it deposited into your cash account. Normally, your distributed dividends are automatically deposited into a money market or some cash account with your broker. If you look online, do you have a cash account? Maybe the cash account didn't get downloaded in the QIF file, but you have a cash account where you can see the balance online? As reported, that "IntInc" transaction is saying that investment paid out $69.97, and you did not reinvest it. You should somehow have that $69.97, and if you don't, you should be able to ask JP Morgan for details on that transaction, like where the money went? Actually, the interest transaction was just dated yesterday, so maybe a check is on its way, or hasn't settled in your cash account yet?

Thanks,
Mark
