Does the internet retrieve of prices complete okay? It sounds like the problem is happening when FM is trying to save your investments. Are your investments marked as "Read-Only" for some reason? Please take a look at the properties of one of the investment files that FM says it can't save. You can do this by browsing to it in "My Computer", and right mouse clicking on the file, and choosing "Properties...".
