I can't deal with this Web crap. Address is <deleted per request> >> : I think I converted everything to the "Yahoo" server and eliminated the country specific servers such as Yahoo - UL & Ireland. : That explains why I was getting pence on my secondary computer. I will continue to use the "Yahoo" server only. : I therefor will eliminate the yahoo_uk leaf in the register. : The markets just closed over here. Looking up "bna.pa" : I see that the situation is more complicated then that. Using the US server http://www.yahoo.com column B contains the closing value & column C contains the date in the format 05-08-07. Using the French server via http://www.yahoo.fr column C does not contain the date, it containg the closing value. : In fact no date is visible at all. : For "iii.l" I get pence on both server (contradicts what I saw last night). Again the column lay out is different on the US server, "C" contains a date, on the UK it doesn't. "B" on both servers contains the closing values.
Sure, we can move this to email. Just send your next reply by email, and I'll reply the same way. To send us an email, go to our contact form. Click on "Contact Us" in the upper right corner of any page. I just retrieved both iii.l and bna.pa from both Yahoo and Yahoo - UK & Ireland. They all worked. The data was returned with the expected date format, so it imported into FM for the proper date. I didn't see any sign of the bad date format you saw earlier. Prices from Yahoo are imported as posted by Yahoo, whether they are pence or pounds. If you want to make use of the feature in FM that converts to pounds for all *.L symbols, you must use the Yahoo - UK server. Please don't worry about all the different formats returned by the different servers, FM does take care of this. I think it will be easier if we just focus on the results of your retrieves. Are you able to retrieve iii.l and bna.pa okay now? If you want your prices in pounds you will have to use Yahoo - UK for iii.l, as the plain Yahoo returns this in pence. Both Yahoo and Yahoo - UK return bna.pa in pounds though. Thanks,
