I did a historical retrieve the other day and the program worked fine. I used Yahoo (historical). Today I did the same thing and it changed my cash balances to make me dramatically richer. My cash positions don't have a real symbol just cash peronal or cash pension. Why would the prices be correct one day and not the next? : 2. Since there was no way to adjust those cash positions back I did a restore, thinking that it would give me the latest automatic backup. The backup was from mid-April! I guess it pulled a backup from the wrong place. Hi Alan, 1) My guess is that your cash account was marked for price retrieval, and you got a 7 day yield updated for the price. By default, cash accounts are set up to not retrieve, as they normally should just be kept at a constant $1. If you look at the "Investment Properties... / Internet Retrieve" dialog for your cash account, make sure to turn off "Retrieve Price". If you get some incorrect prices, you can edit/delete them in the Data Register with the "Prices" data type selected. 2) If you do a "File / Restore..." it will restore the data associated with whatever backup file you choose. In the future, if you make some edits you don't want, the easiest thing to do is exit without saving. Turn off the autosave options under the "Options" menu, and then exit FM. You can either correct your current investments, or you can try restoring one of the auto-backups, or another backup you may have. When restoring an autobackup, you just copy back the *.dat investment file from the autoback directory to wherever you're storing your data files. Do not use "File / Restore..." for these. Thanks,
