Price retrieve for sold investment

Hi Mark,

I am a long-time user of Fund Manager, having been using Ver 4.7 and recently upgraded to Ver 8.5. Marvellous program.

In my portfolio I have many investments that I've sold. Yet, when I do a Price Retrieve (Yahoo-Historical) it takes ages and the message that flashes seems to indicate that FM is trying to update prices for my sold investments.

I have gone to File>File Operations>Hide Sold Investments, and tried to check the box marked "Turn Off Price Retrieve for Sold Investments" and selected dates from the earliest transaction in my portfolio upto the end of this year. But when I click on "OK", the message box says "Hid 0 Investments".

Short of going into the Investment Properties of each sold investment and unchecking the "Retrieve Price" checkbox in the "Internet Retrieve" tab, is there any other way I can prevent FM from trying to retrieve prices for my sold investments?
