: Hi Mark
: How do I amalgamate two sub-portfolios so that securities that were in both sub-portfolios end up with just one entry that displays the total number of shares and the overall totals for avg. basis etc.?

: When I drag-and-drop the duplicated stock from one to the other I am left with two entries for the same stock.

: thanks

Hi Malcolm,

You can do this by creating a report at the sub-portfolio level above both of these 2 subs, and listing by "Symbol" instead of "Investment". When you list by symbol, all investments with the same symbol will be consolidated onto a single line in the report. Turn off the report option to sub-total sub-portfolios, so that investments from all sub-portfolios will be consolidated onto a single line.

Thanks,
Mark
