unable to Sort investmetns by value

While in any portfolio, when I enter Investmetns/Sort By/Value, hte order of investmetns does not change. I can sort by %yield, Gain, investment symbol, Name. it all sort OK. Just will not Sort by Value.
I am running FM Personal Version 8.5
