Proper labeling for Money Markets

There appears to be a lot of confusion, and dare I say, trouble, with the way Fund Manager handles Money Market transactions especially as downloaded using OFX.

One confusing aspect of dealing with Money Markets right off the bat is that this class of investment does not appear to be properly accounted for in Fund Manager's Properties/Type:. Under investment 'Type:' there is an option for Treasury Bills, Cash, Stocks, etc.

Actually, a Money Market vehicle is not really any of these. For brokerage accounts, 'Cash' does not generally accrue interest (at least at the firm used by my clients), whereas Money Markets do. Since Money Markets are such a large fixture for most investors, however, it would seem to deserve a formalized name as an investment type in Fund Manager.

Can you add Money Market as a Type of investment, to distinguish it from 'Cash', especially as it really is not the same as cash?
