: : Hi Mark

: : I have tried the drag method, and held the (very small) slider tab on the right hand side for up to a minute. No divider appears and the slider springs back to the left as soon as it is released.

: : I agree with your diagnosis of vey wide columns.

: : I have a high speed internet connection but don't know how to set up a web conference. If you tell me what's to be done I will call you Friday morning (Sydney time) if thats OK. I could also telephone you if that's a better option.

: : Thanks for all your assistance. I believe it is a problem with my PC.

: : Regards

: Hi Bob,

: Since you are in Sydney, and I'm in the US, it might be easier to just erase your column width preferences from the registry. Please do this:

: 1) Exit Fund Manager
: 2) Start "regedit" by going to "Start / Run..."
: 3) Browse to:
: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Beiley Software\Fund Manager\CurrentVersion\reports
: 4) Select all the values on the right that begin with "CuCol". (There are a couple hundred of them...). You can select the top one, hold down your shift key, and select the bottom one, to hilight all of them.
: 5) Press "Delete" on your keyboard to delete all of these registry values.
: 6) Re-start Fund Manager, and create your report again.

: Thanks,
: Mark

Hi Mark

You are a genius!!!
I followed your instructions, and it worked perfectly.

Thanks again for your help, especially as it turned out to be my problem (I assume).

Regards
Bob
