: I've owned both CVS and Caremark for years and now seek the cleanest way to include the merger in my FM stock graphs.

: I have received 1.67 shares of CVSCaremark for each share of Caremark at a cost basis of (original Caremark cost)/ 1.67. When I add these shares as purchased at this cost to my existing CVS graph, I get a very deep, narrow divot in my graph line. I tried the Distribution dialogue but it had no field for Shares.

: What have others done or tried?

: Many thanks!

Hi Gary,

Did you have to pay any more out of pocket money for these new shares? I'm guessing not, and that you just ended up with 1.67X more shares. In this case, just record a split at a ratio of 1.67 for 1.

Thanks,
Mark
