Loss of data inn data base

On two seperate occasioins I have entered all my fund infomation for the past six months into the data base. I have checked all the data over used some of it and closed out the program. When I went back into the program the next day all my data with the exception of one fund has vanished.

1. I have not been able to find the previous data input so where is it?

2. Any ides of what is being done wrong?
