: : : For all my trades there is an offset in my default cash account. However, when I checked how the entries went into the cash account and for many of the trades the offset in the cash account is showing current value as opposed to the actual cost. For example I entered a buy of 208,000 shares at a price of .95 for a net amount of 197,600, but the current value is 228,800 and that is the offset amount showing in the cash account instead of 197,600. How do I fix this problem?

: : Hi Louis,

: : This is not supposed to be the case. Can you reproduce this by entering a buy/sell and seeing the incorrect amount transferred from/to your cash account?

: : Where are you looking at this data? You can look in the Data Register with the "Investments (all)" data type selected to see all your transactions.

: : Thanks,
: : Mark

: Hi Mark,
: I figured out what the problem was, my currency settings were wrong. I have fixed the settings, but is there any way to reset the entries in my cash account or do I have to reenter all the trades?

Hi Louis,

Glad you got it figured out. You can either delete the transactions, and re-enter them, or you can edit the cash account entries by themselves.

Thanks,
Mark
