: If an imported transaction (from Ameritrade, for example) such as a spin-off is closed-out, and then re-entered by hand, what happens to any future transaction imports concerning, say, dividends or other distributions relative to the hand-entered data?

: Thank you for any response.

Hi SteveS,

As long as your newly entered investment has the proper CUSIP assigned all future transactions will be updated fine. When Fund Manager retrieves transactions for a portfolio, it looks at all investments in that portfolio for a matching CUSIP between an investment and the retrieved data. When it finds a match, it imports that transaction into that investment.

Thanks,
Mark
