FM 8.0 vs. 6.8 or such

I typed FMSC hope that is correct.....

I see posts asking re 8.0 and various new alternate computations. Also another person wanting like 6.8 and its avail, I myself need not more charts I need cross checks and balances that keep me from making errors, sim to perhaps TTax IRS and/or quicken????

Currently I do/did not want the master folio in 7.0 but since all was recalculated to the new, my old was no good anymore. i.e. I care not what a master folio is, but now, when my main folio is on screen, and if I rename it to Current Holdings, and remove those not current, when I reopen it after closing, I have not the current holdings. All versions prior, said would occur. And that is the same in all Windows files, you want to change Uncle Tom letter JUNE 22 to Aunt Sue letter June 30, you simply rename it Aunt sue... and make your deletes and adds, save it and it comes back as Aunt Sue.

Anyway, Yours for fewer improvements via charting and more vis a vis crosschecking data. Like that hidden switch for Each investment using Rt Click and bottom option- what no global option to change all at once? In Preferences????
