I may have found the answer myself. I have several securities with unusual prefixes on their symbol i.e. _pd & .pk. When I uncheck the box for including them in the price search the download seems to work O.K.
While I'm on the subject of these two stocks; one a preferred and the other a pink sheet, neither of these have ever worked on the price download but they have never interferred with downloading the other stock prices in the past. Both of these stocks are not traded frequently and I'm sure that there are days when there is no market in them. I have chosen to ignore this idiosyncrasy in the past but I would like to correct this situation. Any suggestions?
