Since my funds have all distributions manually entered and tracked, how can I compare these funds (graphical overlay or report) with others that I dont have distribution history for?
To do a good comparison you would want to compare the funds with distributions factored in. You can either maually record, import, or retrieve the distribution data. To retrieve distribution data you can use the "Yahoo (Historical)" quote server and check the option to retrieve distributions, or you could use the "Yahoo (Adjusted Historical)" server, which has back-adjusted the closing prices to take into account distributions and splits. The option to retrieve distributions with Yahoo (Historical) requires the Professional or Advisor version. Once you have the data in Fund Manager there are many ways to compare, but you can compare graphically using the Investment Overlay / Price plus distribution graph to overlay the normalized price plus distribution of each investment you select with "Graphs / Options / Overlaid Investments". To compare with a report, use the Fund Performance Yield report, which only looks at the underlying investment, not your invested money. Thanks,
