: : Hi Ron,

: : Sub-portfolios are stored as part of your portfolio file (*.mm4). You can't open just a single sub-portfolio alone, but you could create another portfolio file, and copy/paste the contents of just that one sub-portfolio. Usually this is not necessary, and you would just have one portfolio file with all your sub-portfolios. You can graph and report at any level of the sub-portfolio hierarchy, so it isn't usually necessary to open just the one sub-portfolio by itself. Is there something in particular you're not able to do with just that one sub-portfolio?

: : Thanks,

Thanks Mark
I was planning on deleting my orginal (2) portfolios that were associated with my two brokerage accounts and just working on things like updating transactions and pricing by opening the "everything" master portfolio and then a sub-portfolio, whose investments now mirror the two account portfolios .I still have these two orginally created portfolios and they each contain logon info so I can go thru them for updating transactions. After thinking about it, that doesn't present any problems and I guess I sell an investment it will update in the sub-portfolio as well.

Well thanks, so far I think FM will do well for me.
Ron
