: What is a deposit account? If you record a dividend for a stock, the proceeds will automatically be transferred to whatever investment you have assigned as the default cash account in that sub-portfolio. You can assign any investment you want as the default cash account. If you have a particular transaction that you want the proceeds transferred differently, you can either temporarily re-assign the default cash account, or you can manually adjust where the proceeds were transferred. To manually adjust the proceed transfer, delete the deposit into the default cash account, and add it into whatever other investment you want.

Hi Mark,

My deposit account is my savings account that all dividends will be paid electronically. I also thinking of manual re-assign default cash account to a dummy for devidend as you suggesting.
