Yes, that does make sense. One idea would be to re-use the same investment file for subsequent options for a given security. For example, you could have one investment for INTC, and one investment for the current INTC option you're trading. After you're done with that option you could change the name/symbol, and re-use it for the next INTC option. I'm not sure if that works with your trading method, but thought I'd suggest it...
