Dealing with part payments

This issue has been raised a couple of times in the past & I wonder if any progress has been made.

I have a share where I paid a certain amount on acquisition with balance to be paid in 10 years. (This 10 years due date has almost arrived.) I have seen your suggestion about the "deemed" loan approach. I thought I might just create a negative dividend which would reflect cash flow accurately but Fund Manager does no accept this approach.

I could also "sell" my security & re-purchase under new circumstances but this would create a distortion in returns. I need to get this sorted out as this is a large investment in my portfolio.

Any thoughts would be really appreciated.
