I'm going to move this to a new thread because the message titles are starting to display funny on my system, because of the indentations.

It seems to be fixed!

I'll tell you exactly what I did, since it would be best anyway if you knew what happened:

I was in the User account, shut down the portfolio as you suggested, tried it again, TOLD THE NEW PORTFOLIO WIZARD NOT TO APPEAR IN THE FUTURE - which I bet is what did it - and then logged off the user account. I then logged into the Administrator account, tried it - and everything worked fine - and then logged back onto the User account and opened FM again, when everything was suddenly fine, at least for now.

The only two things I did were to tell the New Portfolio Wizard not to appear, and to log off and then log on again. I had logged off and on again previously without it's getting fixed, so I guess it has something to do with running the New Portfolio Wizard on opening.

Thanks.
David.

: : 1) What if you close your portfolio, and then exit and re-start Fund Manager? Do you still get those error messages? I'm wondering if it is specific to the portfolio opening automatically at startup.
: Nope. It still happens, even if I close down the portfolio manually before closing FM.

: : 2) What if you run it from your Administrator account? Do you still get that error message?
