: 2) Sorry, the command line feature will just update all open investments in the portfolio file you specify. You can't choose to update just a single sub-portfolio. Is there some reason you don't want all your investments updated?

I have a portfolio with ALL of the U.S. investments I have EVER owned - useful for comparing long-term performance with indexes, etc. Most of the equities still exist, and I just didn't want to create an unnecessary load on either my connection or Yahoo's server by updating prices for stocks I haven't held for years. However, I'll do what you suggested below. I'll copy the live securities only into a separate portfolio file, and use that in Windows Scheduler.

Thanks.
David.
