My apologies for this basic question, but how are non-OFX-represented cash transfer desposits entered into the default cash account, long after subportfolios are created, if the default account is not in a money market or other investment vehicle with an OFX symbol? Using the New Investment box, must the default cash account be entered as Name, with Price=1 and the Shares = to the dollar credit balance added? Or is there a more expeditious way to enter new cash transfers under such conditions? When I attempted this approach, the transfer deposit shows up in the data log as a debit (e.g. $50,000 enters as (-) 50,000, whereas the initial deposit shows up as a credit (e.g. $900,000 enters as (+) 900,000.
