A couple of additional questions concerning the save functions provided. What's additionally saved when 'save portfolio' is used instead of 'save all investments'?
Saving your portfolio saves the *.mm4 portfolio file you're using. Saving investments saves the *.dat investment files. The investment files contain your pricing and transaction data for each investment. Each investment has its own investment file. For more on investments, see: The *.mm4 portfolio file saves your sub-portfolio definitions, which investments are included in each sub-portfolio, and all of your workspace settings, like which windows are open, etc. For more on portfolio files see: Thanks,
