Hi Steve

: Thank you for your helpful response. Sorry to be so dense about this, but say I've set up a default cash account, with manual transactions entered for a month or so, and then I wish to meld this with the money market transactions provided on OFX (which appear to be handled as the cash account)? When retrieving, OFX already recognizes the manually arranged default cash account. How do I transform or meld the previously preordained default cash account into the money markets?

You could make the manually created cash account your money market, and then do the retrieve. Open up the Investment Properties... for this cash account, and assign the symbol/CUSIP for the money market to this cash investment.

: One additional question concerning my previous inquiry:Does it matter whether OFX lists money market transactions as "stock" rather than "cash"?

Where are you seeing the transaction listed as stock? Transactions themselves aren't associated with an investment type (stock or cash). Investments do have a type associated with them. Do you mean that when retrieving and your money market is getting created, it is getting created as a stock investment type, rather than a cash investment type? If so, this really doesn't matter, but you can change it under the Investment Properties....

Thanks,
Mark
