Sorry the transition didn't go smooth for you. 1) Do you get any error messages? If you select "View / Portfolio Editor", do you see any of your data? 2) My guess is that you have many report and/or graph windows being created? You can do a "Window / Close all Reports/Graphs" and then re-save your portfolio. Version 8 should open your portfolio to the same state that it opened in 7. If you'd like me to take a look at either of these, you can email me your data files, and I can try to open them here, to see what is wrong. 3) Yes, as long as you haven't re-saved your portfolio file (*.mm4) in the new format, or you have a backup. If you tried saving in the new format you would have received a big warning, so if you didn't see that, then you can still open your portfolio file in v7. You can still download 7.x from our web site if you need it. Just go to the revision history link from the download page. Thanks,
