: Mark:
: We would love to talk to you first thing tomorrow morning. We would appreciate if you can call us. Here are some of the questions we have:

: 1) ROI numbers seem to be annualized even when we do them monthly. Should we use %gain instead of ROI?

: 2) Can we set up a separate fee account so that fees are not charged to the money market fund? It goes against everybody's grain to see negative returns in the money market account.

: 3) We want to run separate accounts. Can we do so by using sub-accounts or sub-portfolios? We are not sure how to set these up.

: 4) As a corollary to the above regarding sub-portfolios, in the event we sell a position or a portion of a position in the main portfolio, do the sub-portfolios automatically sell proportionally?

: 5) Cannot remember what I did to graphically compare the portfolio to the indices. I can get the indices but I cannot include the portfolio. Help!

: Look forward to speaking with you tomorrow.

: Thanks,

: Esteban and Luis

Hi Esteban,

I will call you in the morning, at the phone number you left.

1) You control whether yields are annualized or not. See the 2 options at "Options / Preferences... / Yields".

2) Yes, you can.

3) You want to use sub-portfolios. You can create and manage these in the "Portfolio Editor" window. If it isn't already open, select "View / Portfolio Editor" to open it.

4) Sub-portfolios can contain other sub-portfolios and investments. When you record any transaction, that is recorded in that investment. Any sub-portfolio that contains that exact investment file will see the results of that transaction. Usually you only have an investment file in a single sub-portfolio. If you own the same security in more than one account, you would have a separate investment for each holding of that security, so that you can track the transaction history separately.

5) Please see the "Graphs / Portfolio / Investment Overlay" graph types. Once you choose one of these graph types, select which portfolio and investments (indices) to overlay using "Graph / Options / Overlaid Portfolios and Overlaid Investments.

Thanks,
Mark
