: Hi Mark,

: Everything is working perfect and I don't want to screw things up again. So this may seem silly, but I want to know the 'proper' way to delete an investment that is contained in one or more portfolios.

Hi Steve,

To delete an investment you can use the Portfolio Editor. If this window isn't already open, use "View / Portfolio Editor". Select the investment(s) you want to delete, and use "Edit / Close".

Are you sure you want to delete these investments? Deleting investments from your portfolio removes all their history as well, so it won't be factored into your historical portfolio returns. If you've sold all of an investment, and don't want it cluttering your display, just "hide" the investments instead. To hide an investment go to "Investment Properties... / Other" and turn on the "Hidden" attribute. You can then use "View / Hidden Investments/Portfolios" to toggle on/off the display of hidden investments. Even when they're hidden they are still part of your portfolio, and factored into the historical portfolio returns.

Thanks,
Mark
