: : : : FM 8.x works differently here. Now you can have multiple graph windows open, and each graph window can be displaying a separate investment. This means that scrolling investments in the graph window no longer scrolls the investment stack itself. Now, scrolling investments in the graph window just changes which investment in the stack that particular graph window is displaying. The stack itself remains unchanged as you scroll through the investments in the graph window.

: If I understand what you are trying to do, you want to have the report open just to see the investment value when you look at your graph, right?

: You can add the investment value as a legend text, so that you do not even have to look at a report (just the graph). If that's what you want, then right click on the graph, graph options, legend text. Then add investment value which I think is [[einvval]] (or similar).

Thanks Corey and Mark for the feedback. Since I am accustomed to the graph overlaylaying the report so that only the top item listed in the report would be visable-in version 7, as you scrolled thru the investment stack, the reports top listed item would change to match the present graph. Since there are other fields in the report, such as amount invested as well as the value, I probably will re-install vers 7. [ I will try out Corey's method 1st]
