Posting Cost Basis after the OOP Costs are Entered

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Postby astraseske » Thu Jul 11, 2013 2:59 pm

Hi Mark,

I'm entering the cost basis information into Fund Manager. When entering the OOP cost into Fund Manager, I set the cash default to 'zero' or 'none' so the cash account would reconcile. Should I set the cash account to zero again while entering the cost basis information?

Thank you,

Adam

Hi Adam,

That is not necessary. When editing the tax basis for a transfer in, the cash account will not be affected.
Thanks,
Mark
