Message Board issue

An issue with the message board: I notice that when I log in it retains my login and automatically logs me in the next time, even though I do not check the "Log me in automatically each visit" check box. Deleting cookies related to Fundmanager clears this, but it happens again the next time I log in.

Hi Ivan,

You will stay logged in until you choose "Logout" in the upper/right of any page. Just browsing away from the site, or closing your browser won't log you off. Once you do logoff, the option to automatically log you in when you next visit will be in effect.

This isn't a significant issue, but I am curious. If closing the browser doesn't log me off, then what does other than manually selecting logout? And if the only way to log off is to do it manually, what is the use of the "Log me in automatically each visit" check box?

I'm not really sure... I haven't experimented with that feature of the message board.

Personally, I just leave on that option to automatically log on, and don't ever manually press Logout. Each time I browse to the forum, I'm already logged on.
