Historical Quoates to more than 2 decimal places

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Postby surendar jeyadev » Sun Nov 24, 2013 8:52 am

The prices retrieved from Yahoo are only up to two decimal places.
This causes some pain in reconciling balances (though one learns which
investments to look at).

Is there a quote server that gives the correct closing prices on NASDAQ?
I find that almost all problems are due to NASDAQ stocks.

thanks

Hi sj,

I looked at a couple example tickers on Yahoo, Google, and Bloomberg, and they were all reporting to 2 digits. I'm not sure what the "correct" digits should be, but that seems to be how they all report it. If you have another source that is showing more than 2 digits, you might see if these sites report that ticker to more than 2 digits. Just use your web browser, and visit their site and look up the quote. If you have a sample ticker that shows more than 2 digits, please let me know.
Thanks,
Mark
