Problems Retrieving USAA Transactions

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Aloha Mark,

I have had a problem retrieving transactions from the USAA OFX server since Thursday or Friday. The following error is displayed::

General Error

Were (sic) sorry, an error has occurred during processing. Please try again later

________________


What files/logs can I send you to help troubleshoot this?

Hi Jason,

The log files will be in this hidden folder:

C:\Users\Mark\AppData\Roaming\Fund Manager

Take a look at:

ofxpost.txt
ofxretr.txt
xmldump.txt

If the ofxretr.txt file has this error message in it, then the error is coming from USAA's OFX server, and not Fund Manager. In that case, there won't be anything we can do until they fix the issue on their end. If you'd like to email me the log files, I can take a look as well.
