Price retrieval for stocks in Chile

Hi Mark,

I have been a user of FM for many years. I live in Chile now and have local investments. Can you tell me how to update prices daily in Chile? I have tried in Yahoo but does not seem to work. Tks in advance for your help. Carlos Franzino

Hi Carlos,

I'm not sure which quote server offers these specific prices. You might try Bloomberg or Reuters, which are usually good at providing many international quotes. We have links to all our quote servers here:

Just use your web browser, and see if you can find your needed quotes on any of those servers. If you do, adjust either your global default server under "Options / Internet Settings..." or if you only want to set it for some investments use "Investment Properties... / Internet Retrieve" to override the quote server on a per-investment basis.

I actually found that Bloomberg offers the information under their own stock code (like Banco de Chile = CHILE:CL). I changed all codes as per Bloombergs own adding the :CL and still does not retrieve anything. Any ideas? Tks, Carlos

Solved. using Bloomberg's quotation. The addition to the stock code is a CI, not a CL. Also working on historical quotes.
