Problem with manual price updates

I have a problem updating historical prices for a stock, Empiric Student properties, ESP.L

There is a gap in the historic prices caused by an error which prevented the investment opening. I can't find a server which hosts the historic prices so I tried to load them manually.

After I entered just on price, it wiped all the previous history!

This is the only problem that I have with updating prices manually, any ideas anyone?

I now find that Yahoo historic does download the prices but they have to be multiplied by 1 to be correct whereas the current prices on yahoo have to be divided by 0.01 to be correct but still if I try and update prices manually, the whol;e lot vanish.

Manually adding a price should not cause any others to be removed. How are you updating the price exactly? Where are you viewing prices that vanish? There are several ways to get to the manual updating of prices, but you can go into the Data Register (Edit / All Data...) and switch in the upper/right the Data Type to "Prices". Press "New..." to add a new closing price.

oops, confession time, I was entering the prices as pence e.g. 83.4 instead of .834

So when I looked again at the graph all the prices except the ones I entered looked like zero!

Lesson learnt!
