Pricee updating very slowly if at all on Yahoo Historical

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Just recently updates to prices have become glacially slow.

I get several different error messages.

System error code: 2
Message: The System can not find the file specified.

Check that you are not working offline
In Internet Explorer uncheck Work Offline

In trying to examine the log files I find that "Enable Audit Trail Logging" is grayed out in the Data Tab of Options.

When the price retrieve begins, it hangs on "Getting CRUMB" for a very long time before going on.

I am using Win10 and when I looked in Internet Explorer, I could not find a place to ensure that I was not "working Offline"

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Hi RBerliner,

Please use Internet Explorer (not Edge or any other browser), and try going to Yahoo Finance and looking up some quotes. That might clear up whatever setting is not allowing you to retrieve prices. Also, verify you have cookies enabled. After successfully viewing a quote with IE, try retrieving in Fund Manager again.
