ACCTINFORS Error

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Postby theobaldr » Thu Nov 28, 2019 9:25 am

I reviewed the log. Stated security error. Went to Schwab. Trusted device OK. Third party OFX access disabled. Set it to enable. Works fine. Must be something new with Schwab, never had to set it before. Thanks Mark for your help.

Hope this helps others.

I thought I might share this in the event others have had senior moments and disabled the OFX function from their Brokerage Company. Of course this gives you the "Missing Acctinfors" error. Like most people I try to keep my data secure, so I inadvertently disabled the "OFX" feed on my Schwab account. In the case of Schwab, it is found under Service, Security Center and there is a selection button which turns off the outside data feed. Rather than panic (like what is happening with the Corona virus response), you might check this solution. Of course I felt foolish when I discovered my mistake and if you chose not to admit you made a similar error, feel free to keep it to yourself. YOU ARE WELCOME!
