Fidelity Investments Transaction Retrieve Problem

For those having trouble retrieving from Fidelity Investments, it appears in order to connect with this server you'll need to be using Window 10 with IE 11 installed.
I just upgraded (free) to Windows 10 and that fixed the problem. Thanks Mark for taking the time to figure out the solution.

Excellent, thanks for confirming the fix.
Did you try resetting all the advanced settings under "Internet Options... / Advanced" inside IE 11 and rebooting your PC? If you try that, and still can't get it working, please try uninstalling the IE 11 feature, and re-adding it. Maybe that will clear up whatever isn't set correctly. This is under "Turn Windows features on or off" in the Window's Control Panel.
The past 2 days when trying to update FM's Fidelity portfolios using
'Retrieve Transactions' , I have been getting the 12029 error. HOLD THE PRESSES; Is this my problem ? OTHER THINGS : 'Retrieve Transactions' on Fidelity accts, 2 months ago, worked fine. Note that I had no problems doing 'Retrieve Transactions' on another broker's accounts yesterday. PC is Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit could this be a problem given that Microsoft has stopped supporting 2013 vintage software ? After reading all the relevant comments in this post, I systematically disabled various firewall , anti-virus and anti-spam to see if that would allow 'Retrieve Transactions' to work. I updated the 'transactions module to the latest. I also temporarily disabled 2-factor authentication because that prevents Fund Manager 'Retrieve Transactions' processing too. Still can't get past the 12029 error ! Any suggestions appreciated.
Yes, the problem is you must be using Windows 10 to connect with the Fidelity server now. Their server is using a more modern secure connection method not available under older versions of Windows.
Much appreciated, just wanted to double check that that is the issue.
