Close Portfolio

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

I accidentally hit "Close Portfolio" on the FILE MENU and now all I can see in Portfolio Editor is Master Portfolio and I can't get to any of my sub-portfolios. How can I recover? I assume I can restore from a backup but I will lose about 4 hours of detailed cleanup work.

Hi elliots,

You want to re-open your portfolio. It is probably the #1 entry on the list of most recently opened portfolios at the bottom of the File menu. Either pick it from there, or use "File / Open Portfolio..." to open it. This method requires you know the filename and where you've saved it, but if you're not sure, just pick the top entry (below "Exit" at the bottom of the "File" menu).
Thanks,
Mark
